Steven Wilson, MD, FACS, FRCS (England) was valedictorian of Fort Smith Arkansas high school, attended Yale University and graduated from University of Virginia Medical School. Dr. Gabriele Antonini is a renowned urologist and andrologist who graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1998 and specialized in Urology at the same institution in 2005. From 2016 to 2021, he served as a researcher and adjunct professor at the Department of Gynecological, Obstetrical, and Urological Sciences of “La Sapienza,” where he also coordinated the Level II Master’s program in “Reconstructive Andrological Surgery and Prosthetic Implantology.”

Britney L. Atwater, MD is a chief resident at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in biomedical engineering and then attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Jeff D. Brady, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist with over 20 years of experience in both general and reconstructive urology in a large tertiary center. In 2021, his practice transitioned to primarily focusing on reconstructive urology. Rafael Carrion was born in Lima, Peru. His family immigrated to America in the 1960’s and settled in Miami, Florida. His father is a prominent urologist in Miami, who specializes in Andrology and provided mentorship throughout his education and training. Dr. Rafael Carrion received his B.S. and his M.D. degree at the University of Miami. After completing his residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, he became a fellow in Sexual Medicine and Neurourology at the University of California in San Francisco under the leadership of Dr. Tom Lue.
After finishing his fellowship, Dr. Carrion returned to Tampa, Florida where he joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine. He is now a Professor and Chairman for the Department of Urology. He is on staff at Tampa General Hospital, Advent Health Tampa, the James A. Haley Veterans Administration Hospital, and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
Dr. Carrion’s subspecialties are: Sexual Medicine, Neurourology, and General Urology. He is an active member in over 8 professional organizations, including the American Urological Association (AUA), Southeast Section of the AUA, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the Florida Urological Society. He has held and continues to hold important officer positions in several of these organizations. Martin S. Gross, MD is an Associate Professor of Surgery (Urology) at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. He is the Men’s Health specialist for Dartmouth Health. He graduated from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School and completed his Urology residency at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Ivan graduated with a BS degree in molecular biology from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. Mr Wai Gin (Don) Lee, MBChB, PhD, FRACS (he/him) is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist at University College London Hospital (United Kingdom). His practice encompasses all aspects of male sexual health including erectile dysfunction, male infertility and Peyronie’s disease. Dr. Christopher Love graduated from Monash University, Australia, in 1978. He spent his early training years in Melbourne before moving to Sydney to commence training as a Urology Register. He completed his Urology training in Melbourne in 1986 and then went to UCSF in San Francisco in an observing role.
He became involved in Male Health in 1987 and has been a major penile implant surgeon in Australia since that time and is now the highest volume implant surgeon in that country. Dr. Love treats patients from all parts of Australia, and from overseas, and his experience leads him to be being highly regarded amongst peers and patients, and to be acknowledged as one of Australia’s experts in penile implant surgery, and other forms of prosthetic urology.
He is also the most experienced Australian surgeon in Peyronie’s disease, and the only surgeon in the country doing length and girth restoration surgery, with penile implantation, for this condition. Dr. Love also continues to treat all aspects of general urology. He is the senior surgeon in the Melbourne-based Andrology Prosthetic and Microsurgical Fellowship program, having trained International Fellows from Israel, UK, USA, Canada and New Zealand in this role.
He has multiple publications on urology topics and has given numerous lectures and presentations to patient groups, urologists and primary care physicians, as well as demonstrating and teaching aspects of urologic prosthetic surgery, both nationally and Internationally.
He is on the international prosthetic surgical training panel for Coloplast and Rigicon. He is a member of Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ), and an international member of the American Urologic Association (AUA), the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) and the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons (SUPS), and he maintains close ties and association with many of the leading prosthetic urologists in North America. He is also a member of the SIU and the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM).
He is a regular faculty member at the Surgical Masterclasses for Serious Implanters, run by Prof. David Ralph in London UK, and is the organiser and facilitator of biennial Australasian Surgical Masterclasses for Serious Implanters. Dr. Morey has been a leader in Reconstructive Urology for the past three decades, having completed over 4000 urethral reconstruction surgeries and published over 500 peer reviewed articles.
From 2007-2023 he was Professor and Distinguished Chair of Reconstructive Urology in Honor of Allen F. Morey, MD in the Department of Urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. There he directed the successful Urologic Trauma, Reconstruction, and Prosthetics Fellowship program, mentoring 23 graduates, 6 of whom are currently fellowship program directors themselves.
Dr. Morey served as President of the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS) and the AUA South Central Section. His previous honors include the US Army Legion of Merit Award, the AUA Distinguished Contribution Award, the Ferdinand C. Valentine Award from the New York Medical Academy, and the F. Brantley Scott Award for excellence in prosthetic urology.

John J. Mulcahy, MD

After completing graduate studies with a Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Michigan and residency in Urology at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. John Mulcahy began his career at the University of Kentucky where he was director of Urology at the Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. There he instituted a program of intermittent catheterization in the spina bifida population and sacral rhizotomy in select spinal cord injury patients to achieve conservative bladder dysfunction management.
He moved to Indiana University Medical Center in 1978 where he was Chief of Urology at Wishard Memorial Hospital, the county hospital for Indianapolis, for 20 years and Professor of Urology. His main areas of interest have been urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction, and he has pioneered many treatments and surgical procedures in these areas including the double cuff artificial urinary sphincter, the windsock technique for repairing proximal crural perforations during penile implant placement, the distal corporoplasty for repairing extruded penile implant cylinders, and the salvage procedure for managing penile implant and artificial urinary sphincter infections. The salvage protocol which he developed has revolutionized the management of prosthetic infections and is used throughout the world.
Dr Mulcahy has received many recognitions including the Cristol Award from the Mayo Urologic Alumni Association and the Brantley Scott Award from the Bladder Health Council of the American Foundation for Urologic Diseases for significant contributions to Urology. The senior class of 1996 at Indiana University Medical School had chosen him as the Outstanding Professor in the Clinical Sciences. In 2011 he was selected as a charter member of the Brantley Scott Academy for excellence in prosthetic urology. In 2016 Dr. Mulcahy was selected as an Honorary Member of the American Urological Association for outstanding contributions to urology. In 2017 he was presented with the Gold Cane Award by the American Urological Association for outstanding dedication as an academic leader, a mentor training multiple generations of urologists, and an outstanding innovator in urologic prosthetic therapy. In 2019 he received the Living Legends Award from the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons and in 2021 he was the inaugural recipient of the Wilson Cup, awarded annually by peers to the premier prosthetic urologist.
For 25 consecutive years he conducted a course at the AUA Annual Meeting on preventing and managing penile implant complications which had large enrollment and very positive evaluations. He is past president of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) and past president of the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons (SUPS). He was chairman of the Sexual Health Council of the American Foundation for Urologic Disease and chairman of the Coalition for the Advancement of Prosthetic Urology (CAPU) and lobbies strongly for insurance coverage for penile implant placement. He has over 200 publications and has edited 5 urology textbooks. He has been a Visiting Professor at numerous academic institutions in this country and throughout the world. He has served on the editorial boards of Urology Times, The International Journal of Impotence Research, and Contemporary Urology, and has also been a reviewer for The Journal of Urology, Urology, the British Journal of Urology, the Journal of Sexual Medicine, and Sexual Medicine Reviews. He is currently Emeritus Professor of Urology at Indiana University and Clinical Professor of Urology at both the University of Arizona and the University of Alabama. Sung Hun (Sean), Park MD is the founder of Sewum Prosthetic Urology Center of Excellence in Seoul, Korea and an Adjunct Professor of Urology at the Ajou University school of medicine in Suwon, South Korea where he received his medical degree and urology specialty training. Dr. Park received his prosthetic urology fellowship training in the US for 6 months under the guidance of Professor Steven K Wilson. He returned to Korea and established his Prosthetic Urology clinic which has grown to become one of the highest-volume IPP centers in the world. Professor David Ralph is Professor of Urology at UCLH and UCL, London since 1996. His training included General surgery at St Thomas’s and St Mary’s Hospitals London, and Urology at Leeds and the St Peter’s Hospitals London. He is a Fellow of both the London and Edinburgh surgical colleges and has also obtained a BSc in Biochemistry and an MS in London.
Since appointed in 1996, he has built up the Andrology department at UCLH from a single man unit into a department of five consultants, 6 clinical fellows, MD and PhD students and junior staff. It is now the largest, most prestigious Andrology department in the world with over 50 international observorships per year and the highest number of tertiary referrals in the UK.
His practice is entirely confined to Andrology with the main interests being penile reconstruction, Peyronie’s Disease, Erectile dysfunction with prosthetic Urology and male infertility. He runs a large multidisciplinary erectile dysfunction service with a European training fellowship for penile prosthesis implantation and is Director of the Erectile Dysfunction Clinical Trials Unit.

He founded the national penile cancer centre at UCLH, the international training centre for penile prostheses insertion and the major phallic reconstruction unit. It is also the biggest priapism centre in the UK.

He has been awarded the Brantley Scott medal in 2016 for recognition of his international contribution to Prosthetic Urology, the British Society For Sexual Medicine Career Award in 2017 and the ESSM career award and the Wilson Cup for prosthetic Urology in 2022. Dr. Ege Can Şerefoğlu was born in İskenderun in 1979 and graduated from the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. In the same year, he began his specialization training in the Department of General Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. After June 2004, he continued his specialization at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, Department of Urology, and became a urologist in April 2009.
During his specialization, Dr. Şerefoğlu had the opportunity to publish his studies on erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation in national and international scientific journals. He also worked on pediatric urology during his education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and Radboud University Department of Urology (Netherlands).
After serving for 2 years at Mardin Kızıltepe State Hospital as a State Service Obligee, he started to work on Andrology at Tulane University School of Medicine (USA) in 2010. Dr. Jay Simhan is Chair and Professor of Urology at Temple University Hospital and Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Dr. O. Lenaine Westney is a Professor in the Department of Urology, Medical Director of the Genitourinary Center, and Fellowship Director of the Urinary Tract and Pelvic Reconstruction Fellowship Program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her areas of clinical expertise are postprostatectomy incontinence, neurogenic voiding dysfunction, post-radiation urinary tract reconstruction, and urinary diversion. In her role as the lead urologic reconstructive surgeon in the Department, she has emphasized clinical and research collaborations with Colorectal, Gynecologic Oncology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Plastics Surgery to improve the management, quality of care and outcomes of urinary tract structural and functional disorders in patients with pelvic malignancy.
Dr. Westney’s family is originally from Jamaica but made their American home in the Maryland-Washington, DC, area where she was born. She attended Howard University as an undergraduate and received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her Urology residency was completed at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School, followed by a fellowship in Urodynamics and Voiding Dysfunction at the same institution under the tutelage of Dr Edward McGuire. She progressed into a faculty appointment at UT, becoming the Division and Residency Program Director. In 2009, she transitioned into a primary position at MDACC, focusing exclusively on managing incontinence and voiding dysfunction in high-risk oncology patients.
